The United States Has Entered The Proof of Concept Phase of a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC)

According to CBDCtracker.org, The United States has entered the Proof of Concept Phase of a CBDC. Did you know that? Were you told? Did the major media outlets make any mention of this at all?

When I spoke about CBDCs at the Village SDA Church last month, CBDCtracker.org had listed the United States as among those countries that were merely in the RESEARCH PHASE of a retail CBDC, shown in green below:

I consulted the CBDCtracker.org website just before giving my talk, and the same information was still presented, having last been updated on December 16, 2023.

However, yesterday I visited the website to see if there have been any changes or progress worldwide in the advancement of CBDCs. I was surprised to see that the United States is NOW listed among the countries that are in the PROOF OF CONCEPT PHASE for a retail CBDC, which is defined as “Countries that are in an advanced research stage and have published a CBDC proof of concept.” See below:
