I agree that the USA, when it does launch a CBDC, will do so using stable coins or deposit tokens and using banks as intermediaries, as Powell has said at least twice (ie, the synthetic CBDC model)

I agree that the USA, when it does launch a CBDC, will do so using stable coins or deposit tokens and using banks as intermediaries, as Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell has said at least twice (ie, the synthetic CBDC model, and not the direct-issue CBDC model that China and other countries have employed).
